Time to Change Wales: Innovative £1.9 million partnership to end mental health discrimination in Wales

Time to Change Wales logoThree leading mental health charities in Wales have been granted nearly £2 million for collaboration to challenge stigma and discrimination under the banner 'Time to Change Wales'.

Three leading mental health charities in Wales are joining forces today to challenge the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health problems with the launch of a new national programme.

Response to the release of the NHS Information Centre report Attitudes to Mental Illness 2011

Sue Baker, Director of Time to Change, England’s national anti-discrimination campaign led by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, said:

“The findings present a mixed picture of public attitudes towards mental health issues in England with some improvements over the last year as well as less progress with other statements.
