Time To Talk Event

I'm excitedly planning for my Time To Talk Event where I work. We will be having conversations galore around mental health stigma and we've got a local psychiatric nurse/comedian to host.

Spreading the word

I deliver training to staff in Health & Social Care. I add Time to Change to presentations and always talk about it at some point within ALL training. If i can help one person, that will be a start !

OCD/Scrupulosity

After speaking to an undergraduate psychology class last fall, I decided to work on my story....and turn it into a book. I've recently launched a GoFundMe campaign and am excited to get started.

Job coaching

I have a mental illness, but that doesn't stop me from helping others to work. I job coach others to maintain competitive work. This benefits not just the worker, but society as a whole.

Mental Health Day

I shared my experiences of what it is like to suffer in silence in the workplace with a mental health issue. I told them it has shaped who I am today and I am proud of my achievements.

A small difference

I spoke to my parents about my difficult periods with ocd and my suffering. When a friend of mine uses a disrespectful language I try to correct him in a way he can understand the power of his words.

Radio 4 appearance

Today I traveled to London as a media volunteer to be on Radio 4s 'world at one' discussing mental health in children and CAMHS services. Amazing experience to discuss mental health openly
