About social contact

The most important part of holding a Time to Change event – big or small – is the conversation: getting people talking about mental health can help break down stigma and discrimination.

This involves creating opportunities for people with and without experience of mental illness to interact and learn from each other – this is what we call ‘social contact’. Download our toolkit for practical tips and advice >>
