Train the trainer is a free training package for professionals, volunteers and community leaders working with young people aged 11 to 25. The training includes a basic overview of mental health in young people, the impact of stigma and discrimination, and ways in which young people can take action to change this. Please note: this is not a mental health awareness course.
The training will provide you with all the guidance and training materials you need to deliver this off-the-shelf programme to young people in the area in which you work.
It’s a great opportunity to expand your knowledge about mental health and the impact of stigma and discrimination. You can be part of the solution – our training will help you use your knowledge to inspire others, particularly the young people you are in contact with, to join a social movement to end stigma and discrimination.
Who is eligible to attend?
If you work or volunteer with 11-25 year olds in the South East of England and you are willing to deliver the education pack to the young people you work with, we’d welcome you on our train the trainers course, which will be delivered in a central Kent location, easily accessible from all major stations.
If you would like to attend this training, please fill out the booking form below. If you have any queries, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: we do not accept multiple bookings. Each individual wishing to attend will need to complete a separate booking form.
