Combating Stigma DVD

Rethink have developed two audience specific DVDs which are given to each individual that attends the main END sessions.

Medical Professionals

DVD features: 

• four people speaking about how living with a diagnosis of mental illness has impacted on their lives, either as someone with experience of mental health problems or as a carer/family member
• information about key themes: recovery, physical health, minority groups, employment, housing, suicide, dual diagnosis, medication, aggressive behaviour
• PDF section with additional information and useful articles on stigma and discrimination

Educational professionals

DVD features: 

• the DVD (as above) 
• additional contribution from a head teacher and a young person
• additional resources toolkit
