World Mental Health Day 2012 was on Wednesday 10th October. This year's theme was "Depression: A Global Crisis". We celebrated World Mental Health day with an event in Liverpool - former European Capital of Culture and the world capital city of pop.

What is World Mental Health Day?

The World Health Organisation describe the day as:

World Mental Health Day raises public awareness about mental health issues. The day promotes open discussion of mental disorders, and investments in prevention, promotion and treatment services. This year the theme for the day is “Depression: A Global Crisis”.
