Disability Awareness Week

A follow up from last year - an event to raise awareness of the abilities of those in the colleges who may have a disability to learners in the colleges. The aim is to celebrate the ability of such learners and their achievements. This was also run alongside raising awareness of celebrities with disabilities, paralympians and we had a paralympian plus trainers offering sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball and blind football during the week. The aim this year is to raise more awareness of the abilities of those with mental health difficulties.
