Raising Awareness Challenging Stigma - Mental Health Awareness Campaign

We are working in partnership with Waltham Forest CAMHS to develop a local campaign to raise awareness around mental health issues for young people. Events and activities will take place in our local libraries. Schools have also be invited to take part, supporting this work through the curriculum, assemblies etc. The local librarty campaign will be ruinning from March 10th - 23rd. We are also offering follow up training for schools to include SENCOs, Learning Mentors and other professionals working in schools. We have already approached Young Minds with a view to commissioning them to be part of the training. This will take place later in the year - May/June time.
