Step by step guide: 
  • Take time out to have a chat with a colleague, wherever makes sense for you: by the water cooler, in the canteen or on the road. 
  • Alternatively, you might want to take 5 minutes to email or call a colleague who you haven't seen in a while, to ask how they're doing.
  • The conversation doesn't have to be all about mental health - it can be as simple as asking how they are, and really listening to the answer.
