Village event on London's SouthbankIn 2013 over 300 volunteers joined us at a Time to Change Village!

We were here there and everywhere over the summer months, with Villages across the country, and we needed a veritable army of volunteers to help make these events a success.

The Village is a pop-up interactive space where the public can learn about mental health by having conversations with people with first-hand experience of the issues.

By talking to our volunteers people learned about what it’s really like to live with mental health problems, which helped to change some of their prejudices and preconceptions.

Volunteers gave up a few hours of their time to come to our Village and share their experiences.
