About this pledge
Colebrook signed the Pledge to coincide with World Mental Health Day 2016. Colebrook aims to promote the Time to Change Pledge using a variety of staff communication channels, comprising of personal blogs, wellbeing events, intranet resources, posters, and email communications to get the message across, and challenge stigma around mental health both amongst our workforce and the wider community.
Colebrook has already introduced a number of initiatives, including training for managers and other staff to understand stress and mental health conditions, and to improve attitudes and behaviours towards these. Employees and their families have access to the EAP scheme and there is information available in the Staff Wellbeing information pack.
Colebrook will continue to encourage staff to address mental health issues and to support colleagues through the introduction of a Mental Health Champions scheme, and by ensuring that these issues form a regular part of meetings across the organisation at all levels.
