About this pledge
Here at NOW TV we’re committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace promoting positive attitudes, open discussion and practical help around mental health and wellbeing.
Our aim is to make sure our employees are comfortable, confident and equipped to have open and honest discussions around mental health. Our Mental Health First Aiders have developed the knowledge and skills to listen to and support their colleagues, spot signs of mental health issues and signpost to services for further help.
We also have over 50 Wellbeing Champions who act as ambassadors and advocates for positive mental health in the workplace identifying and raising awareness of support resources available, as well as working with Body&Mind@Sky to create a calendar of events to support key awareness days.
Furthermore, we have partnered with leading youth charity, The Mix to provide expert resources, guidance and support to our staff across a variety of mental health, personal wellbeing and social issues. As well as provide our employees with the opportunity to make a positive impact on the communities they live by volunteering for The Mix’s support services for under 25’s.
We believe mental health discussions should be as easy as discussions about physical health and are really excited to sign the Time to Change Pledge to show our commitment to ending stigma in the workplace.
