The managing directors set up Porterhouse Medical in 2002 with the aim of creating a company where they would want to work.
There has always been a strong emphasis on teamwork and the ‘Porterhouse family’. Staff are encouraged to form strong bonds and friendships with frequent socials and company activities.
In the past year, there has been increased focus on mental health, with the first mental health first aiders trained. Through this initiative, it has highlighted other areas where we can increase support for mental health and ensure that nobody feels unable to speak up about mental health.
As a company, we are committed to eliminating the stigma around mental health and ensure that every member of the company feels supported.
