About this pledge


Launched in 2010, we have 13 offices globally. Our international network enables us to offer in-country solutions to candidates and clients – providing seamless project location and full compliance, taxation, payroll and mobilisation support.

Our core values: People, Accountability, Collaboration and Excellence have guided us to becoming the high performing business we are. Our values have guided us to deliver excellence to all stakeholders we work with on an international scale.


‘People’ is our first core value as a company and we are committed to creating an environment where our people’s wellbeing is at the centre of everything we do. A part of our commitment we have recently introduced our PACE Engagement Survey – our new approach to employee engagement, this will allow us to receive regular real-time feedback which will allow us to shape the environment and the experience our people have here.

From our first engagement survey we could see that wellbeing was something important to our people which led us to announcing that over the next 12 months we will be developing our own SO Wellbeing programme. We have been open and honest to our people in the fact we want this to become truly imbedded into our culture so will not be an immediate thing but something we will continue to improve over the next 12 months and beyond.

The So Wellbeing platform we will have just launched with this, makes viable the range of support and benefits we already have available and will update with upcoming ideas and events. Our aim being to help improve the four pillars of wellbeing; mental, physical, financial and social health. As a result of feedback we have already made changes as enhancing our sick pay policy and had external management training.

We will continue to have follow up internal training with the managers making sure they have all the support they need to support their team and handle sensitive conversations, making the discussion around mental health comfortable for all.

We will be introducing wellbeing champions across the company globally, looking to have them trained in mental first aid. We will be looking to recognise and support key days throughout the year – Looking into changing our charity partner to something in regards to mental health or giving the vote to our employees so that it will be something more meaningful to them.
