Mind's Lived Experience Unit
Mind’s new Lived Experience Unit is being created to bring together opportunities for lived experience leadership and ensure the needs of people with mental health problems are at the heart of Mind's work.
They are keen that the learning, leadership and energy that has gone into making Time to Change such a success can live on after our national programme ends. They are thinking about how to make this a reality and are keen that Champions and supporters with lived experience can join Mind on this journey.
Their Lived Experience newsletter launches in May, so you can stay part of a community of Champions to help keep the momentum going. Content will include lived experience, peer support, and campaigning opportunities as well as showcasing your great work.
Rethink Mental Illness's Lived Experience Network
Rethink Mental Illness is keen to build on their proud record of ensuring the voice of people living with mental illness, and their carers, is at the heart of everything they do.
That’s why, if you live with a mental illness yourself or care for someone who does, they're asking you to sign up to share your experiences. The information you provide will help Rethink Mental Illness understand the problems you face and how they can challenge attitudes and change lives.
By signing up you will receive opportunities to take part in surveys, invitations to participate in and attend events, the chance to share your story in the media or online, regular updates and signposts to advice.
