The latest edition of our Speak Out magazine focuses on mental health in the workplace and showcases ways in which two particular organisations have sought to tackle mental health stigma and get staff talking more openly about the issue. We look at how our organisational pledge works in action, a commitment which over 150 organisations across the country have signed up to and we offer some useful tips for line managers on starting a conversation about mental health.

Speak Out is a tool developed by Time to Change to offer advice, facts and inspiration for challenging discrimination in different areas of life. Previous editions have covered our work with the media and how we advised on well-known storylines in EastEnders and Emmerdale; the importance of social contact in ending stigma; and how we’re working with young people to tackle stigma among our younger generation.
