Darren Parks from Real Radio supports Time to Change

Listen out for the #TimetoTalk message on your radio this month!

We're working with Real Radio in the North East, North West and Yorkshire to start a conversation about mental health with their listeners. Their presenters will be spreading the word that it's time to talk about mental health and break down the stigma surrounding it.

During the three week campaign, Real Radio will interview local people who have experience of mental health problems to dispel the misunderstandings that still exist. Listeners will be able to dedicate songs to friends, family and partners who have supported them through a tough time, and show their support by signing the Time to Change pledge to end mental health discrimination. Their street teams - The Real Patrol - will also be taking the Time to Talk message out on to the streets. So, if you're in the north, keep a look out!

The three week partnership will culminate in a six hour takeover on Friday 30th August, where presenters will swap their show times to endorse the message that it’s ‘Time to Change.’

And over on Heart, Captial, TalkSport, XFM and many other regional radio stations, our #TimetoTalk advert is going to be broadcast throughout August.

It's going to be a busy few weeks for the campaign. And it wouldn't be as successful if it wasn't for you, our supporters, speaking out and sharing the #TimetoTalk message.

So if you hear us on your radio, tweet us or get in touch on Facebook to let us - and your friends - know!
