Do you know someone working in health or social care who has been particularly stigma-busting in their community? The Individual Recognition Award for Stamping Out Stigma will go to an individual who has made a significant difference in tackling stigma and discrimination in the workplace or in the community.
The individual should work in health or social care doing something meaningful to reduce the discrimination faced by people with mental health problems.
Could you be eligible? Or do you know someone you could nominate? To enter just tell us how the person’s work tackles mental health stigma and discrimination, giving examples where possible of how they have used their own experience of mental health problems or how their work has made a difference to others.
The deadline for submissions is 30 May 2014. Find out more about the award and how to apply on the Positive Practice website: www.positivepracticeinmh.com
