Who are Time to Change Luton?

We are a social movement aiming to change the way people think and act about mental health in Luton.

Time to Change Luton is coordinated by the local mental health charity, Our Minds Matter.

How does Time to Change Luton work?

We run a wellbeing calendar where Champions and organisations are given the opportunity help reduce mental health stigma by talking openly to the public. Our key dates in the calendar are:

  • Time to Talk Day – first Thursday of February
  • Mental Health Awareness Week – each May
  • World Mental Health Day – 10 October 2019

How can I get involved?

Time to Change Champions can get involved with the Luton Hub in a number of ways, from helping plan Social Contact events and taking part in awareness raising events, to influencing the strategy and approach of the Hub as part of the Steering Group. If you’re not already a Champion, you can find out more about becoming one.

Our Hub holds regular meetings.
