Norfolk Time to Change Hub is led by Norfolk County Council and coordinated by Norfolk and Waveney Mind, plus a partnership of local organisations, including Menscraft, The Outsiders, HMPPS Norwich and other agencies.

Over the past year we have held “Crafternoon” events at a local social enterprise, the KindaKafe, and tea and talk events with the Norfolk and Waveney Wellbeing Service.

For Time to Talk day 2018, we started conversations in unexpected places across Norwich, with funding from Norfolk County Council Public Health. Partners for Time to Talk Day included: Norfolk County Council Public Health team, Menscraft, The Outsiders, The Joy of Food, Riverside Leisure Centre, The Missing Kind, Kindalistening, DWP, The Millenium Library, and Catton Park Park Run.

Activities on the day included:

  • An interactive Food and Mood stand at the Forum, cooking demos, crafts, and a menscraft “rear view mirror” stand – with retro games.
  • Champions at the Riverside Leisure Centre had chats in the Gym and Spinning room.
  • We also had conversations at the Kindakafe “Crafternoon” and at our info point in the Millenium Library.
  • Volunteers went out in small teams to have conversations (captured in selfies) out and about in the city.

On 3rd February we also hosted a Time to Talk Park Run at Catton Park with our recovery stories written on our running vests. This was also to promote our new running project, Pace of Mind
