Who are Time to Change Cannock Chase?

We are a social movement aiming to change the way people think and act about mental health in the Cannock Chase area. Our work covers Cannock, Rugeley, Hednesford, Heath Hayes, Norton Canes and any other surrounding areas wanting to take part.

Time to Change Cannock Chase

How does Time to Change Cannock Chase work?

Our Hub is supported by the following partners:

We are a friendly and approachable group of people with lives that have been touched by mental health problems. We meet regularly in a public park that is easily accessibly by all means of transport.

Throughout the year, we support and organise activities in the community that encourage face-to-face conversations to break down the stigma around mental health problems.

We provide a positive public presence through our individual groups, at meetings, events and in the community to promote understanding of mental health problems.

Our Hub creates an opportunity to talk openly about mental health stigma. We do this by:

  • Meeting with our partner organisations on the first Monday of each month
  • Holding campaign group meetings on the first Wednesday of the month
  • In these meetings we discuss ideas for campaigning and events, and arrange training to reduce the stigma around mental health in our community.

How can I get involved?
