My mental illness has affected my education, my social life, my friendships and relationships, my ability to go on public transport and, at points, the ability to even leave the house.
My greatest source of support has been my family and friends who have been absolutely amazing and have there every step of the way.
My hope for the future is that I will be able to face and overcome my anxiety so that I can do what I want to be able to do in life without my anxiety stopping me.
I’m taking 5 on Time to Talk Day because I want to raise awareness of mental illness and so that other people going through similar fears know that they are not alone.
